About GraceSheetKids
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6
GraceSheetKids turns any Bible passage into print-ready worksheets for children, in about thirty seconds.
Why we built it
Sunday school teachers are volunteers. Most prepare their lesson on a Saturday night, after a full week of work, for a class whose ages range from four to twelve. The material that exists is either a fixed curriculum that doesn't match the passage the church is teaching this week, or a pile of free PDFs that must be hunted down one by one.
We wanted the opposite: you choose the verse, and the activities are built around it — the exact passage, at the reading level of the children in front of you.
What you can make
Pick a passage and an age group, and GraceSheetKids generates a printable set:
- Scripture memory pages that build the verse up word by word
- Word searches and crosswords drawn from the passage's own vocabulary
- Sentence scrambles, true-or-false quizzes, and story sequencing
- Coloring pages and illustrated story scenes
- Sermon note pages for older children sitting in the main service
- Prayer practice, group discussion, and journaling pages
- A matching answer key for the teacher
Everything is laid out for A4 and US Letter, so what you see on screen is what comes out of the printer.
How it works
You select a book, chapter, and verse. The actual scripture text is fetched first and sent along with your request, so the passage is quoted rather than paraphrased from memory by a model. From there the activities are generated to match the passage, the age group, and the difficulty you chose, and you can edit any of it before printing.
Who it's for
- Sunday school teachers preparing a class for this week's passage
- Children's ministry leaders who need consistent material across several age groups
- Homeschooling parents building a Bible curriculum around their own reading plan
- VBS and camp organisers who need a week of activities in an evening
- Grandparents and parents who want something to do at the kitchen table on a Sunday afternoon
Our approach to the text
Scripture is quoted from the translation you choose, not invented. Activities are built to be doctrinally plain — the stories, the words, and the big idea of the passage — rather than to advance any one tradition's distinctives. You remain the teacher: review what is generated, adapt it to your children, and use what serves them.
Free to start
Every account starts with free credits, and you can generate and print without a subscription. Paid credit packs exist for teachers who print week after week and want to support the work.
